Home Safety Stories from People Like You
Written by admin, December 16th, 2011

I have been talking with a lot of house owners recently about their home security. I am working to gain some insight on the different ways that our homes can become at risk. I asked each person I spoke with if they had ever experienced any suspicious activity on their property. It could have been burglary, a broken window, a suspicious individual – anything really. Almost every single person had a story to tell. Many of the stories led them to buy a home alarm system. I have heard that Security in Cuyahoga Falls is the option many have decided on.

One person informed me that he was home for the afternoon, but left to go pick his little boy up from baseball practice. After they got back home about ten minutes later, one of the windows was shattered and a few things were missing inside. He thought he was being watched, and the burglar knew when he left. A different mother of 3 informed me that she once opened the door to someone who said they were a salesman. After the guy finished speaking, he then asked if he could come inside to talk it over with her. She said no thanks, and the man replied by asking if he could still come inside and use her telephone. Since he was being so persistent, she again declined and shut the door.

All of us have had encounters with suspicious people and situations. Some experiences are worse than others, like the first man’s experience. The information I am getting helps me figure out what motivates people to get a alarm system. The woman said she chose to get one the next day, and that she got it from LakeForestHomeSecurity.net.

I have heard tons of similar stories from other families. You never truly know what will happen on a specific day. I am positive these people did not wake up that morning and think something abnormal would happen later that day. It really emphasizes the importance of being prepared.
